Toyah left for London after lunch. This morning we walked through the deer park to the big house, then had lunch in the village inn. This afternoon I've been gradually clearing the 1920s mahogany roll-top desk which was my first acquisition from Father's auction room in Wimborne. It cost £32 in 1969 and has followed me everywhere ever since.
